JOB NOTICE

The County Clerk and Recorder of Daniels County, Montana will be accepting applications for a full-time position as clerk in the Office of the Clerk and Recorder until April 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m..  Applications can be picked up at the Clerk and Recorder’s Office in the Daniels County Courthouse in Scobey, Montana or phone 406-487-5561 for a faxed copy or download for this page. 

 Some requirements for the position include:

1.   Have working knowledge of accounting practices

2.   Ability to work with the public

3.   Working knowledge of office machines, equipment and computers

4.   Capable of maintaining confidentiality of records

5.   Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines

6.   Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds

7.   Must have a high school diploma or equivalent thereof
